Bath County Supervisor, Stuart Hall arrested

In Warm Springs, on Thursday morning Williamsville District Supervisor Stuart Hall turned himself in. He had been indicted by a Grand Jury on Monday. An investigation began back in July when it was brought to State Police attention that Stuart Hall and his wife Barbara have not lived in Bath County for many years. They were both registered to vote with a Bath County address. Three of the charges are for false statements on forms and three more are for perjury, or lying under oath. They are Class 5 felonies. The hearing for the first charge was on Monday, and another hearing for the remaining charges will take place on October 18th.

Stuart Hall has been a supervisor in Bath County for nine terms, or close to 36 years. In all of those elections, he has only been defeated once.
