Mountain Magic Contest
“Mountain Magic” is that unique and special essence of life here in the heart of the Allegheny Highlands made up of our people, our families, our life, our culture, and our beautiful surroundings, which is alluring to others outside of our magical mountain home. Allegheny Mountain Radio helps create and reflect that special enchantment by bringing the communities of Bath, Highland, and Pocahontas Counties, and surrounding areas together as one, reflecting that magical essence of life within.
The Mountain Magic of our community is made up of many magical moments. Your memorable moment might be experiencing one of our breath taking mountain majestic sunsets, or sharing a joyful gathering of friends and family amidst our beautiful surroundings on a special occasion, or just relaxing on a porch swing taking in the cool breeze after a long day of work. Whatever magical moment you may be thinking of we are asking you to share it. Or maybe instead of sharing one of your magical moments, perhaps you would like to share how you think Allegheny Mountain Radio helps create and reflect the magic of your community. How do we reflect the magical essence of life within the Allegheny Highlands?

Your entry gives us permission to mention your admission on the air.
During our special week of Fall fundraising coming up October 15th thru 21st, we will share some of these entries over the air with our listening audience. Then on Friday, October 20th sometime during Morning Drive of Fall Fundraiser, we will draw a name from the entries in the contest and that person will win a prize package containing a one-night stay for two at the Omni Homestead in Hot Springs, Virginia, a one-night stay, dinner and a concert at Garth Newel in Hot Springs, and a pair of tickets to a performance at the Opera House in Pocahontas County–a prize package approximately valued at $800.00.
Staff and Volunteers of Allegheny Mountain Radio (and companies donating prizes) and their immediate families are not eligible to win. Participation not required to enter contest.
