Group Coaching Available Through My Creative Spark

It’s the middle of January. How’s that New Year’s Eve resolution working out for you? I thought so. Luckily, depending on what your resolution is, there may be someone who can help.

“I’m Annette Nabor and I have a small retreat and conference center that is called Emerald Mountain Sanctuary. I have always dreamed about having a little retreat center in mountains, and it has finally come to fruition. The actual physical site was completed just over a year ago, which is a few miles south of Monterey in Highland County. And now for this year, I’m revving up the offerings on the workshops, the retreats, nature tours. And as such, I am now offering a small group coaching process that I’m calling My Creative Spark. That actually came from my taking pleasure in seeing people break through any obstacles, and seeing them come into their own coming up with creative sparks, that moves them a step or two forward in whatever it is that they are doing.

“You know how in January, people come up with these New Year’s resolutions and gym memberships go way up. And then by February, they drop again. Because people have the idea, they have the intention, but they can’t somehow make it happen. So that’s what the coaching process enables – people to stick with something that would be difficult to establish on their own or to maintain on their own.  So it’s really about making a change in your life, and making the change so that the change becomes a habit, and that new habit becomes your new routine and becomes part of your lifestyle. Ideas pretty much are a dime a dozen – most of us have more ideas than we know what to do with. But, picking one idea that holds our interest and our passion, and seeing that idea through so that it becomes a reality – that’s what I would love to do with this group.

“The people I’m thinking about are writers and artists who are working on a long term project; perhaps someone who wants to develop a business idea and put everything in place to make that happen; people who are going through major life transitions, like empty nesters, or people who are recently widowed or divorced and need to design a whole new life for themselves; people who have received a major wake-up call in regards to their health and need to make major changes. I’m also thinking about people who are considering perhaps early retirement, and are looking for ways to make that happen for themselves.

“So basically what we’re doing is a manifestation process – moving from the idea in your mind to make the idea a reality in your life. In addition, there’s a second component that I really want to emphasize, which is accessing your own creativity. So not only accessing their individual creative inspiration, but also cross fertilizing each other in the group.

“So the group will meet between January and November, once a month for three hours, face to face. And then in between, we will have email contact to help everybody get through their goals for any given months. There is a fee for the program, but scholarship opportunities may be available.
