In this latest story, I reflect on my recent trip to the National Federation of Community Broadcasters 50th Anniversary Conference in Salt Lake City. Thanks to support from the Listening Post Collective, Heather Niday and I were able to join other rural, tribal, and community broadcasters to talk about the challenges—and opportunities—we all face.
It became clear just how important local radio is, especially in places like the Allegheny Highlands. In this piece, I share what we learned, what changes we’ve already made, and how our Community Information Ecosystem Assessment is helping us better serve you.
