Faith, Family, and Service: A Conversation with Dr. Joseph Ott

I had the chance to sit down with Dr. Joseph “Joe” Ott, one of the newest physicians at Bath Community Hospital. “Dr. Joe” was open and forthright about his passion for pediatrics, his military service as a way to both serve his country and afford medical school, and how his faith continues to guide his work. He also shared how being a husband and father has shaped him as a pediatrician—helping him better understand the joys and struggles of parenthood.

We were also joined by Bath Community Hospital CEO Jeff Lingerfelt, who reflected on his upcoming retirement and offered insight into what the future holds for the hospital.
