Bath School Board Already Thinking About Spring Sports
Warm Springs, VA – The Bath County School Board is thinking about spring. The board made a number of coaching appointments Tuesday night in preparation for spring sports.

And the following were appointed as substitute teachers: Lisa Baugh, Ashley Bayne Crouse, Tina Fisher, Teresa Kimmel, Brenda Kintner, Thomas Moore and Deborah Pollock.
And Bath County High School has a new school nurse. Cheryl Thompson of Millboro began work at the school in mid December.
Also on Tuesday night, Bath County High School Principal Pete Pitard reported that a grant has been received from Project Graduation to assist students in Standards of Learning remediation. The grant amount is $10,527.00 and it will be used to help with tutoring.
Elementary Schools Principal Les Balgavy reported that Millboro and Valley Elementary participated in a Radio Disney program called Get Active, Get Fit. Both Millboro and Valley were among the 25 schools in Virginia which won awards for the number of students participating. Both schools will receive a Radio Disney dance party as part of the award.
