The Polar Express at The Historic Masonic Theatre

On Saturday,November 22 at 3:00 pm, The Historic Masonic Theatre in Clifton Forge invites families, friends, and believers of all ages to step aboard for a magical holiday journey—The Polar Express Experience!

The Theatre will transform into a holiday event where the spirit of Christmas comes alive on the big screen. Guests are encouraged to come in their coziest pajamas and relive the timeless story of The Polar Express in the most enchanting setting imaginable, the beautifully restored historic theatre.

From the moment you step through the doors, the adventure begins. The presentation of Polar Express is a free, and you will be greeted by cheerful volunteer elves before taking your seat in the auditorium. Enjoy the large theatre screen and maybe even a surprise visit from Santa himself. Every child will receive a silver “Believe” bell—a keepsake to remind them that the magic of believing never fades.

The Historic Masonic Theatre is proud to make The Polar Express Experience an annual holiday tradition, celebrating the warmth of community and the wonder of the season where families enjoy this holiday favorite together.

Gather your loved ones, put on your pajamas, and get ready to hear that familiar call…

Story By

Scott Smith

Scott Smith is the General Manager for Allegheny Mountain Radio and Station Coordinator and News Reporter for WVLS. Scott’s family has deep roots in Highland County. While he did not grow up here, he spent as much time as possible on the family farm, and eventually moved to Highland to continue the tradition, which he still pursues with his cousin. Unfortunately, farming doesn’t pay all the bills, so he has previously taken other jobs to support his farming hobby, including pressman/writer for The Recorder, and Ag Projects Coordinator for The Highland Center. He lives in Hightown with wife Michelle and son Ethan. In his spare time, he wishes he had more spare time, especially to ride his prized Harley-Davidson motorcycle. scott@amrmail.org
