A Conversation with Amy Good, LPC

As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, I sat down with Amy Good, a Licensed Professional Counselor and the newest member of the Behavioral Health team at Bath Community Physicians Group. A Highland County native with more than two decades of experience, Amy brings a grounded, compassionate approach to mental health care—along with a deep commitment to rural communities.

In this conversation, we talk about the calling that led her into this work, the mentors who helped guide her, and how she’s working to meet people where they are—whether they’re navigating trauma, addiction, grief, or just trying to find emotional balance in everyday life.

If you’re looking for a thoughtful, honest perspective on what it means to serve—and to heal—in a rural place, you’ll want to hear this.

You can find the full interview now on our Facebook page or at AlleghenyMountainRadio.org.
