Allegheny Mountain Showcase – MLK Jr. Day in Marlinton

For many years now Lewisburg in Greenbrier County has hosted marches and ceremonies for Martin Luther King, Jr Day that have drawn people from many surrounding counties celebrating the principles of peace and goodwill that are at the heart of King’s legacy.  But those living in Pocahontas,  making the long drive to Lewisburg is not always easy, especially when the weather is iffy.   With that in mind, two dedicated volunteers have this year brought the celebration to Pocahontas.
