Bath County CodeRED Test Scheduled For December 12th

Warm Springs, Va – Bath County will be testing the CodeRED Emergency Notification System on Monday, December 12th, 2011. All numbers in the database will be called.

The calls will begin around 10am and will continue until the entire database has been attempted. This call will give Bath County personnel the chance to operate the system as if there has been a community wide disaster.

Please note that your caller ID will display “Emergency Communications Network” or the phone number 866-419-5000.

The message that is being delivered will advise citizens that this is a TEST. The message will also advise to contact Teresa Phillips at (540) 839-7287 if you need to update your contact information, including phone numbers and your physical address if you have moved to a new location within the county. You may also log onto the Bath County website at www.bathcountyva.org and click on the CodeRED link to enter your contract information.

Heather grew up in the Richmond, Virginia, area and now lives in Arbovale, West Virginia with her husband Chuck. Heather is a wonderful flute player, and choir director for Arbovale UMC.
