Bath County Grand Jury Certifies Multiple Child Pornography Felony Counts Against Former Warm Springs Postmaster
Warm Springs, VA – The case against a former Warm Springs postmaster, who was arrested on child pornography charges, went to a grand jury on Monday April 9. Gregory Charles McMullen of Alleghany County was arrested on January 24. He was charged with sixteen felony counts of production of child pornography and one felony count of indecent liberties with a minor under the age of 15.
The grand jury certified those charges and in addition new charges have been placed, two counts of aggravated sexual battery. These additional charges are from the same victim as the earlier charges. A trial date is pending.
According to Special Agent James T. Morris of the Virginia State Police, the investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be pending. McMullen is being held without bail at the Alleghany County Regional Jail. McMullen, age 64, was postmaster at Warm Springs for 29 years. He retired in October 2005.
