Bath Family Vies For Top Spot In Christmas Lighting Contest

Hot Springs, VA – A lights display in Bath County is one of 48 entries in a Christmas lights contest sponsored by TV station WDBJ-7 in Roanoke Virginia. Bath County student Jordan Ford and his family decorate their home each Christmas in a big way and this year it’s one of the entries in the “Light Up Your Hometown” contest.

The Ford Family’s display features over half a million lights, a 25 foot Santa, a 20 foot light animated Christmas tree, a Polar Pathway and more. The Ford’s call their creation Christmas Forest.

In the WDBJ contest, the home that receives the most votes for the best light display will be featured on WDBJ-TV channel 7 on Thursday December 22.

Christmas Forest is open December 19th through the 23rd for walk in visitors from 6 to 9pm. And it’s open Christmas Eve for drive through visitors from 5 until 9.
