Bath Senior Center Calendar For November

Warm Springs, Va – On Monday November 15th we’re going to have a program on retirement and investments with Edward Jones, along with a special luncheon. It’s also the beginning of Medicare D open enrollment. If anyone in the community wants to know something about Medicare D and how to enroll, please give me a call here at the senior center.

On the 17th, we’ll be doing genealogy with Connie Metheny. The 18th is our great American Smoke Out and Pastor Charles will be here with devotions. November 24th will be our bingo day at the YMCA, and we’ll have lunch out and a quick trip to Wal-Mart.

We will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. On the 29th we’ll have a coverall jackpot bingo and birthday celebrations. We’re open on Monday Wednesday and Thursday from 9 to 1. We serve a hot lunch at 11:30. We have exercises daily around 10.

And every Thursday we meet at the Wellness Center from 10:15 to 11 for a fitness workout. This is open to the public and anyone can join us if they’re over 60.

Heather is our Program Director and Traffic Manager. She started with Allegheny Mountain Radio as a volunteer deejay. She then joined the AMR staff in February of 2007. Heather grew up in the Richmond, Virginia, area and now lives in Arbovale, West Virginia with her husband Chuck. Heather is a wonderful flute player, and choir director for Arbovale UMC. You can hear Heather along with Chuck on Tuesday nights from 6 to 8pm as they host two hours of jazz on Something Different.
