Car accident claims the life of Bath County High School Student

 

Bath County High School student Ali Wolfe has died from injuries suffered in a car accident.   According to a WSLS Channel 10 report, Wolfe, age 17, died on Wednesday morning at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  She was taken off life support.

The accident happened Monday evening around 6:30 after Wolfe left Bath County High School.  She lost control of her car on Route 220 near the school, ran off the road, down a steep bank and struck a tree.

It’s reported that two Bath County High School football players in another car saw the accident and called 911.

A prayer vigil was held for Wolfe on Tuesday evening at the high school.
