Come Share Fun & Fitness With Bath Seniors

Warm Springs, VA – We’re ringing in the new year of 2011 at the Bath Senior Center. This is Jeanne Apgar for the Senior Center. If you haven’t got a New Year’s resolution in mind yet, come and join us at the Wellness Center at 10:15 on Thursdays and start working your way to staying fit and aging well in 2011.

This January of 2011 we have some fun things planned. We’ll have our monthly shopping day to Covington on Wednesday January 12. On Monday January 17, we head to the Highland Senior Center to join them for a healthy 2011 challenge with Senior Navigator community specialist Katie Jalaki.

On Wednesday January 19 at 10am Connie Metheny, the local genealogist, joins us to continue working on our family tree books. January 24 at 10am we’ll have a blood pressure screening. On Wednesday January 26 we have bingo day at the YMCA in Clifton Forge followed by out to lunch and Walmart.

Thursday January 27, New Year devotions with Pastor Charles Reed of Warm Springs Presbyterian Church. And on Monday January 31 is game day. We’ll be playing Pokeno playoffs with Diana, we’ll have our big birthday celebration and cover bingo. Come join us.

We meet at the Bath Senior Center every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 to 1 in Warm Springs. We offer a hot lunch at 11:30 daily. The number here is 839-5604 if you have any questions.
