Come Share The Season In Bath County Saturday December 18th

Hot Springs, VA – Come share the season in Bath County on Saturday December 18. The Bath Chamber of Commerce has organized special events with local merchants again this year to coincide with a big day in Bath. Saturday the 18th is the date of the Hot Springs Christmas Parade and the Bath Parks and Recreation Department’s Childrens Christmas Party. Melinda Nichols is the Executive Director of the Bath Chamber of Commerce.

The chamber came up with the idea of share the season to generate local activity and to encourage people to shop at home. At Cristie & Co.,formerly the F-Stop Photo Shop, holiday photos with Frosty and Rudolph will be available for $5 each. And the Chamber will hold its open house from 12 to 4 with cider, coffee and goodies. You can stop in there for a snack before or after the parade. And all the area shops will be offering something special for the holidays.

“Actually we’ve got a lot of various things” says Nichols. “Several of themn do a lot of local things, like a lot of the Bath [County] products and jewelry, knitted items, things like that.”

The Hot Springs Christmas Parade is at 2pm in downtown Hot Springs. The Bath Parks and Recreation Department’s Childrens Christmas party begins at 5pm at Valley Elementary. Santa will be there and they’ll have refreshments and each child will receive a gift.

Share the Season events, the Hot Springs Christmas Parade and the Children’s Christmas Party all take place on Saturday December 18. If you need more information on any of the events, call the Bath Chamber of Commerce at 839-5409.
