Dallas Cowboys Tight End John Phillips Is Out For The Season

Dallas, TX – Dallas Cowboys tight end John Phillips will be out for the entire season. According to the Dallas Cowboys website, Phillips has a torn ACL in his right knee. He will undergo surgery in the next couple of weeks.

Phillips was injured in Sunday night’s Pro Football Hall of Fame Game. Phillips had four catches for a game-high 60 yards before he was injured in the second quarter.

This is Phillips second year in the NFL, playing for the Cowboys. He’s a Bath County native, a graduate of Bath County High School and the University of Virginia.
