Emery Grimes Joins The AMR Sports Broadcast Team

Dunmore, WV – Emery Grimes will join the AMR sports broadcast team this fall as an announcer for away football games. I caught up with him recently to talk about his new role. The Pocahontas Warriors take on Parkersburg Catholic Saturday, Sept 3rd at 1:30pm and the game will be broadcast on the AMR network. Tune for noon hour on Friday, September 2nd to hear Dave’s preview of the Saturday game with Warrior coach Mike Knisely.

Heather is our Program Director and Traffic Manager. She started with Allegheny Mountain Radio as a volunteer deejay. She then joined the AMR staff in February of 2007. Heather grew up in the Richmond, Virginia, area and now lives in Arbovale, West Virginia with her husband Chuck. Heather is a wonderful flute player, and choir director for Arbovale UMC. You can hear Heather along with Chuck on Tuesday nights from 6 to 8pm as they host two hours of jazz on Something Different.
