Federal grand jury indicts two local residents on drug charges

Elkins, W.Va. –
On Tuesday, a federal grand jury in Elkins indicted two Pocahontas County residents on drug charges.

KELLEY LEIGH COHENOUR, age 35, and WILLIAM JOSEPH RUSSELL, age 38, of Cass, are charged with Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine; Maintaining a Drug-Involved Premises; Possession of Material Used in the Manufacture of Methamphetamine and Possession of Pseudoephedrine to be Used in the Manfacture of Methamphetamine.

If convicted on all counts, COHENOUR and RUSSELL could receive up to 70 years imprisonment and up to $2,000,000 in fines. The case was investigated by the West Virginia State Police.
