Flag Day

Minnehaha Springs, WV – “We even saw the question on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire,” says veteran Harlan Whiting, “and people did not know what to do for proper disposal of the American flag when it’s worn, torn, tattered, and shredded to pieces.” The Pocahontas County Veterans Honor Corps will give worn-out American Flags a fond farewell Sunday afternoon at Allegheny Lodge in Minnehaha Springs. Flag Day is Wednesday, June 14.
