Former Warm Springs Postmaster Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

Warm Springs, VA – A former Warm Springs postmaster has been arrested on child pornography charges. Gregory Charles McMullen of Alleghany County, was arrested on January 24. According to Special Agent James T. Morris of the Virginia State Police, McMullen is charged with sixteen felony counts of production of child pornography and one felony count of indecent liberties with a minor under the age of 15.

Bond was denied for McMullen at a hearing held on February first.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 24. At that hearing, evidence will be presented and a judge may decide to send the case to the grand jury in April.

McMullen, age 64, retired from the Post Office in October 2005.
