Frontier rebate available for phone, internet outages

Dunmore, W.Va. – Following the June 30 windstorm, internet and telephone service was disrupted throughout Pocahontas County. Frontier Communications representative Craig Bay informed Allegheny Mountain Radio that rebates are available to Frontier customers.

Telephone customers can receive a rebate for the entire duration of their service outage. If your service was out for a week, you can receive a rebate for that week of non-service. Internet customers also can receive a rebate, but the first 24 hours of the outage will not be reimbursed. For example, if your internet service was out for a week, you can receive a rebate for six days.

Customers must contact Frontier in order to receive the rebate. Residential customers should call 800-921-8101 and business customers should call 800-921-8102 to inform Frontier of the duration of their telephone and internet outage.

Again, Frontier customers must contact Frontier customer service in order to receive a rebate on their telephone and internet bill.

Thanks to Gibbs Kinderman for clarifying this matter with Frontier.
