Garth Newel Thanksgiving Weekend Is A Feast For All The Senses

Warm Springs, VA – It’s a feast for your eyes, ears and taste buds at Garth Newel Music Center in Hot Springs during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. A beautiful setting, chamber music concerts and delicious meals mark the holiday weekend, beginning on Thanksgiving Day. Garth Newel’s new Executive Director, Richard Riley, has been on the job for about two months so this is his first Thanksgiving at Garth Newel.

“I’m looking forward to an event that I’ve never experienced before” says Riley “and I’m just so grateful that I’m here able to be a part of it this year. Lots of great food to be had to accompany the really unique diversity of music that we present.”

Heather is our Program Director and Traffic Manager. She started with Allegheny Mountain Radio as a volunteer deejay. She then joined the AMR staff in February of 2007. Heather grew up in the Richmond, Virginia, area and now lives in Arbovale, West Virginia with her husband Chuck. Heather is a wonderful flute player, and choir director for Arbovale UMC. You can hear Heather along with Chuck on Tuesday nights from 6 to 8pm as they host two hours of jazz on Something Different.
