Through the program, grants of up to $5,000 per business are awarded.  Applications are reviewed by the Economic Development Authority through a set of scoring criteria.

The Incentive Grant Program encourages the growth of small businesses within Highland County by helping with start-up or expansion costs.  The grants are funded by the Board of Supervisors and are awarded by the Economic Development Authority.  This year $20,000 was available for the grants and a total of $17,850 was awarded.
