Humane Society to Host Vaccination Clinic on October 5 in Highland County

The Highland County Humane Society works diligently to provide care to our rural area. On October 5, they will be holding a vaccination clinic from 10 a.m. to noon at the Highland County Volunteer Rescue Squad Administration Building, located at 50 Fleisher Avenue in Monterey. 

 

Available vaccines include:

 

DHLPP (dog distemper/parvo combo), Bordetella (dog kennel cough) $15 each

Fvrcp (cat distemper combo) $15

Dog Lyme vax $35

Cat feline leukemia vax $35

1y and 3y rabies vax $15 

microchip with registration $25

 

Dr. Kim Schneider of Doe Hill Vet Services will be on-hand to administer. There is a small fee for each vaccine, but Huffman plans to do some additional fundraising and tap into grant resources to host a free vaccine clinic sometime in the future. 

 

No appointment is needed, just come out to the rescue squad administration building between 10 a.m. and noon on Saturday, October 5.
