Lady Warriors To Face Tucker For PVC Championship

Elkins, West Virginia – The Pocahontas County Lady Warriors will face their fiercest rivals in the Potomac Valley Conference Championship game on Monday, February 13 at 8 p.m. at Elkins High School.

The #1 seed Lady Warriors will face the #2 seed Tucker County Lady Mountain Lions in the championship game Monday night.

Leading the Warriors will be senior Chloe Bland, who set a school girls’ scoring record earlier in the season. Leading the Lions will be the team’s high scorer, 6’2″ senior Caitlin Maxwell, who was held to nine points in the Lion’s January 28 victory at PCHS.

The game will be broadcast live on WVMR FM and WNMP, starting at 7:50 p.m., game time approximate following a game for third place in the PVC between Pendleton County and Tygarts Valley.

Heather grew up in the Richmond, Virginia, area and now lives in Arbovale, West Virginia with her husband Chuck. Heather is a wonderful flute player, and choir director for Arbovale UMC.
