Moffet McNeel Shares Memories At Little Levels Heritage Fair

Hillsboro, WV – On July 24th, Jacob Moffet McNeel, Jr of Hillsboro, will be inducted into the West Virginia Agriculture Hall of Fame. McNeel has spent more than eight decades on his Hillsboro farm. He’s been a member of the Pocahontas County 4-H Foundation for 66 years, serving 35 of those years as president. Drew Tanner caught up with Moffet McNeel at the Little Levels Heritage Fair. In keeping with this years’ festival theme, Hard Times and the Good Ol’ Days’, Drew talked with McNeel about life during the great depression. Heather is our Program Director and Traffic Manager. She started with Allegheny Mountain Radio as a volunteer deejay. She then joined the AMR staff in February of 2007. Heather grew up in the Richmond, Virginia, area and now lives in Arbovale, West Virginia with her husband Chuck. Heather is a wonderful flute player, and choir director for Arbovale UMC.
