Moseymore with Teece Nowell of Moseymore Lavender Farm

I sat down with Teece Nowell—co-founder of Moseymore Lavender Farm—to talk about healing, growing, and building something meaningful after a lifetime of service. From her decades counseling families through grief and cancer, to the peaceful rows of lavender she now stewards with her husband Doug.

We talked about the story behind the farm’s name, the emotional and medicinal power of lavender, and how Moseymore is a space where joy and grief are both welcome. And since it’s still Mental Health Awareness Month, we take a moment to reflect on how nature can offer its own kind of quiet therapy.

Moseymore Lavender Farm opens to the public on Saturday, June 7th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with regular hours Friday through Sunday—or by appointment. If you have questions or want to schedule a visit, reach out through the website at moseymore.com.
