Music Feeds Us: Chamber Music with a Mission
Fitz Gary has performed on some of the world’s greatest stages—Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Royal Albert Hall. But perhaps his most powerful work began right here in Virginia, using chamber music to combat hunger.
Back in 2012, Fitz launched Music Feeds Us—a concert series designed to fight food insecurity one performance at a time. To date, the series has helped provide over 220,000 meals to families across the Commonwealth.
🎶 This summer, Music Feeds Us comes to Bath County. The concert takes place Saturday, July 26 at noon at The Omni Homestead Resort, featuring Emerging Artist Fellows from the Garth Newel Music Center—where Fitz now serves as violist and Co-Artistic Director. Proceeds benefit the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, supporting hunger relief across the region.
🎁 Every ticket also includes admission to the Parker Quartet concert that evening at Garth Newel, one of the nation’s leading year-round chamber music venues.
