NEW RIVER ANNOUNCES FALL SEMESTER DEAN’S LIST

Lewisburg, WV – Dr. Harry R. Faulk, executive vice president and chief academic officer
at New River Community and Technical College, has announced that 261 students earned Dean’s List honors for the fall semester.

To be named to the Dean’s List, students must earn a 3.25 or higher grade point average, carry 12 or more college hours, not including developmental classes, and receive no D’s or F’s in any class for the semester.

Eight students from Pocahontas County made the Deans’ list for the fall semester – they are:

Heather is our Program Director and Traffic Manager. She started with Allegheny Mountain Radio as a volunteer deejay. She then joined the AMR staff in February of 2007. Heather grew up in the Richmond, Virginia, area and now lives in Arbovale, West Virginia with her husband Chuck. Heather is a wonderful flute player, and choir director for Arbovale UMC. You can hear Heather along with Chuck on Tuesday nights from 6 to 8pm as they host two hours of jazz on Something Different.
