Pocahontas County Magistrates Court Report

Marlinton, W.Va. – Allegheny Mountain Radio News has initiated a new report, which will air every Monday starting with Noon Hour Magazine. AMR news will report Pocahontas County Magistrate Court activity for the previous week. For this inaugural report, activity for the previous two weeks is reported.

On November 12, Angela Gayle Turner, of Marlinton, was charged with domestic battery. Bond was set at $2,500.

On November 12, Shannon Dawn Turner, of Staunton, Virginia, was charged with domestic battery. Bond was set at $2,500.

On November 13, Jeremiah D. Powell, of Marlinton, was charged with public intoxication and battery. Bond was set at $500.

On November 17, Ricky L. Schoolcraft, of Marlinton, was charged with driving with license suspended/revoked for DUI. Bond was set at $1,000.

On November 25, Angelo M. Jiordano, of Marlinton, was charged with DUI.

On November 25, Robert B. Griffith, of Harrisonburg, Virginia, was charged with DUI.

Charges are accusations only and anyone charged with a crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Heather grew up in the Richmond, Virginia, area and now lives in Arbovale, West Virginia with her husband Chuck. Heather is a wonderful flute player, and choir director for Arbovale UMC.
