Pocahontas Emergency Management update – Thursday 4 p.m.

Marlinton, W.Va. – The Green Bank/Arbovale power will be back on later today. The original time of 4:00 p.m. has been pushed back, but we have been assured that it will be back on today.

If your power is still of, please call Mon Power at 1-800-LIGHTSS.

Shelter locations have all been closed.

All Pocahontas County schools will operate on a two-hour delay on friday, November 2.

Heather is our Program Director and Traffic Manager. She started with Allegheny Mountain Radio as a volunteer deejay. She then joined the AMR staff in February of 2007. Heather grew up in the Richmond, Virginia, area and now lives in Arbovale, West Virginia with her husband Chuck. Heather is a wonderful flute player, and choir director for Arbovale UMC. You can hear Heather along with Chuck on Tuesday nights from 6 to 8pm as they host two hours of jazz on Something Different.
