Pocahontas Grand Jury issues 71 felony indictments

Marlinton, W.Va. –

The Pocahontas County Grand Jury issued the following 71 felony indictments and two misdemeanor indictments during its August term:

Jarrell Lee Clifton, II: Two Counts, Sexual Assault in Second Degree, a felony; two counts, Imposition of Sexual Intercourse on an Incarcerated Person, a felony.

Shauna R. Spence – Count I, Grand Larceny, a felony; count II, Conspiracy, a felony.

Justin L. Faudree – Count I, Grand Larceny, a felony; Count II, Conspiracy, a felony.

Daniel Hernandez – Count I, Transport Stolen Property Into State, a felony; Count II, Driving Without No Operators, a misdemeanor; Count III, Failure to Yield at Intersection, a misdemeanor.

Timothy L. Keene – Count I, Failure to Register as a Sex Offender (Lifetime), a felony.

Wanda L. Harris – Count I through IV Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a felony.

Bradley C. Totten – Twenty One Counts of Sexual Assault in Third Degree, a felony;
Twenty One Counts of Sexual Abuse by a Parent, Guardian or Custodian, a felony;
Three Counts of Attempted Sexual Abuse in 1st Degree, a felony; One Count of Sexual
Assault in Second Degree, a felony; One Count of Sexual Intercourse with an
Incarcerated Person by a Person Working as a Deputy Sheriff, a felony.

Selina Goode – Count I, Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a felony.

Charles E. Ellison – Two Counts, Burglary, a felony; Three Counts, Grand Larceny, a
felony; One Count, Conspiracy, a felony; One Count, Break and Enter, a felony.

John A. Shinaberry – Count I, Grand Larceny, a felony.

Danny Lambert – Count I, Child Abuse Resulting in Injury, a felony.

Randall Bibb – Count I, Sexual Abuse in the 1st Degree, a felony.

An indictment is a formal charge, issued by a grand jury, stating that there is enough evidence that a defendant committed a crime to justify having a trial. All named indictees are presumed innocent until adjudicated guilty by a court of law.

Heather is our Program Director and Traffic Manager. She started with Allegheny Mountain Radio as a volunteer deejay. She then joined the AMR staff in February of 2007. Heather grew up in the Richmond, Virginia, area and now lives in Arbovale, West Virginia with her husband Chuck. Heather is a wonderful flute player, and choir director for Arbovale UMC. You can hear Heather along with Chuck on Tuesday nights from 6 to 8pm as they host two hours of jazz on Something Different.
