Pocahontas Man Arrested In Connection With Double Murder In Greenbrier County

A Pocahontas County man was arrested and charged Saturday in connection with a 2020 double murder investigation.

Jeremiah Bleu Powell, 32, of Marlinton, was charged with two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the deaths of Joseph and Daisy Foster, according to the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said the pair were killed at their home along Fullen Cemetery Road in Ronceverte in April 2020.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing and remains “very active,” according to the sheriff’s office.

The home of Joseph and Daisy Foster was also set on fire.  A $10,000 reward is being offered by the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator(s), the sheriff’s office said.
