Pocahontas Prepares for Possible Flooding

Marlinton, WV – Businesses in Marlinton are already preparing for a possible flood this weekend as rain moves into the forecast. Pocahontas, Highland and Pendleton counties are all under a flood watch beginning Thursday evening thru Saturday evening.

Pocahontas County Director of Emergency Managment Melvin Martin says it’s too early to tell how much water may come, or if there will even be flooding.

Stay tuned to AMR for updates as we move toward the weekend.
