When it takes effect on May 26, 2016, it legalizes the carrying of a concealed handgun in WV by people over 21 years of age and older without the need to first obtain a concealed carry license and without first receiving the handgun training required to obtain the license. It also allows those between 18 to 20 years old to apply for a provisional concealed carry license.
