Basic Breathwork: Laughter
Try to smile. Like really, really smile. As your smile grows, allow a chuckle or two to escape. To get yourself started, let loose a big laugh – don’t worry if it sounds fake at first. As you practice the action, the laughter itself will take over. Similar to yawning, laughter is contagious and inspires a physical and emotional release. It also plays an important role in social animal relationships. Practice a few fake laughs until you get yourself giggling – do you feel more relaxed?
