Tap Your Toes Along With Upriver Music At The Bath County Library

Warm Springs, VA – Tap your toes at the Bath County Library Thursday night. The library is presenting a performance by Upriver, who plays celtic, Appalachian mountain music, folk and bluegrass. Upriver is two musicians, Dan Moorefield and Teresa Morrison.

They’re from Ohio and have been touring as Upriver for about five years. Moorefield plays piano, fiddle and guitar. Morrison plays Irish whistles, banjo, mandolin and guitar. They mix in stories with the music that add to the performance.

You can hear Upriver Thursday night at 7pm at the Bath County Library in Warm Springs. Admission is free. For more information call the library at 540-839-7286.

Heather is our Program Director and Traffic Manager. She started with Allegheny Mountain Radio as a volunteer deejay. She then joined the AMR staff in February of 2007. Heather grew up in the Richmond, Virginia, area and now lives in Arbovale, West Virginia with her husband Chuck. Heather is a wonderful flute player, and choir director for Arbovale UMC.
