The Cost of Cruelty: Part One – Bullying Behind the Mask

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and Allegheny Mountain Radio is launching a new three-part series titled The Cost of Cruelty: Understanding Bullying and Its Impact. This series explores why some people bully, the lasting scars it leaves on victims, and how families and caregivers can help rebuild what bullying tries to take away. The Cost of Cruelty: Part One – Bullying Behind the Mask looks at the fear and insecurity that often drive bullying behavior. Parts Two and Three will focus on the emotional weight victims carry and the practical ways we can help those who’ve been harmed. You can hear each report on-air and find the full series online at www.AlleghenyMountainRadio.org or through our Facebook page. These stories matter, and I hope you’ll join me. —Danny Cardwell
