The Hot Springs Volunteer Rescue Squad Celebrates 60 Years

On Sunday, September 17th, the Hot Springs Rescue Squad will celebrate 60 years of service to the community. Festivities kick off at 2:00 pm. There will be memorabilia on display as well as refreshments. The community is invited to share in this day with past and present volunteers.

I sat down with Perlista Henry. Perlista “PY” as she is known discussed the origins of the Hot Springs Rescue Squad and talked about some of the founding members. PY has a wealth of knowledge and is a very talented story teller.

We invite you to like and share this post to help make more people aware of this historic celebration.
