UPDATE: Missing Person Found: Search Underway In Northern Pocahontas County

Green Bank, WV – UPDATE: Pocahontas County Sheriff David Jonese has confirmed that the missing person his deputies were searching for in northern Pocahontas County on January 6th is Green Bank Elementary Middle School Principal Melvin Lindsey. He was reported missing Friday morning by school personnel who feared he may have been in an accident. The Sheriff says using Lindsey’s cell phone, they were able to track him to a location in Harrisonburg, VA.

Local authorities in Harrisonburg confirm they have found Lindsey and that he is physically unhurt and is in communication with the Harrisonburg Police Dept. Sheriff Jonese says they will keep Lindsey in Harrisonburg pending a medical evaluation and interview.

Heather grew up in the Richmond, Virginia, area and now lives in Arbovale, West Virginia with her husband Chuck. Heather is a wonderful flute player, and choir director for Arbovale UMC.
