Warriors fall to Crusaders, 20-14

Parkersburg, W.Va. – Parkersburg Catholic QB/RB Payton Sturm scored three touchdowns in the second quarter to lead the Crusaders to a 20-14 victory over the visiting Pocahontas Warriors Saturday afternoon. The 5’9″ 145-pound junior dashed for TDs of 58, 20 and 4 yards.

Warriors RB Kyler Doss scored rushing TDs of 56 and 49 yards in the second and fourth quarters, respectively. The Warriors were driving to tie the game with under two minutes in the fourth quarter when Sturm snagged an interception at the Catholic 25-yard line to end the Warrior drive.

Heather is our Program Director and Traffic Manager. She started with Allegheny Mountain Radio as a volunteer deejay. She then joined the AMR staff in February of 2007. Heather grew up in the Richmond, Virginia, area and now lives in Arbovale, West Virginia with her husband Chuck. Heather is a wonderful flute player, and choir director for Arbovale UMC.
