In order to qualify for this energy assistance, the resident must have received either a past due bill or a termination of service notice from their utility company. Other eligibility qualifications include the applicant’s income, household size and that the household is responsibly for paying its heating bill.

For Pocahontas County residents, the applications should be mailed to the local DHHR Office at 211 Valhalla Lane, Marlinton WV 24954.
