Monterey resident David Botkin spoke to the Supervisors earlier this month regarding the cancellation of his building permit, issued in late 2010. Botkin says unforeseen circumstances prevented him from completing construction of a building on his property before the permit expired.

The area around Bath County High School is now part of the Warm Springs District. Voters in that area now have a new polling place – Warm Springs Presbyterian Church. The redistricting is needed due to changes in Census numbers.
