Volunteers in the Hillsboro area are working to raise a total of $8,000 as part of the community’s match toward getting the tower and transmitter up and running. So far, they are about a quarter of the way there. With construction of the tower tentatively scheduled for this fall, the time to get the remaining funds raised is drawing near.
