An unseasonably warm fall forced the resort to postpone their season opening for 2009. But with temperatures dipping below freezing and new snowfall, Communications Manager Laura Parquette says the resort is gearing up for a strong start to the winter season. And this year brings the return of an old favorite winter activity at the resort.
