No increase in tax rates in Monterey’s FY 2022 budget.

Speakers at the meeting were opposed to the ordinance and called for discussion between the county and the volunteer rescue squad.

Donald McNeel, the Pocahontas County Flood Plain Manager and Chuck Grishaber, State Coordinator of the West Virginia National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) made a presentation using the on-line West Virginia Flood Tool maps.

Holstein said an NTIA project could be used to at least replace that portion of the coverage area which was lost when the Reconnect Grant was denied, and possibly add additional county coverage areas.
