, Mr. Beam recognized and congratulated Emily McLaughlin for being selected as Teacher of the Year and Doris Sharp as Service Person of the Year. He also honored Jennifer Nail who was recently named the West Virginia Math Teacher of the Year.

At the April 7th Pocahontas County Commission meeting, the commissioners officially voted a Declaration of Local State of Emergency for the county. They also voted to extend the limited access to the Pocahontas County Courthouse and county offices through April 30th.
