On Thursday, October 17, I had a conversation with Kisha Riner, Sierra Gardener, and Laci Ryder from Bath County High School’s Forensic Club. Kisha has been volunteering for various school functions since she moved here. We talked about the Forensic Club’s special Halloween Haunted Gym event at BCHS on 10/26/24.
This project will extend broadband East and Northeast of Marlinton.
Over35 years, including the interest, the county taxpayers will be paying $9,141,475 total to repay this 5-million-dollar USDA loan, making monthly payments of $21,765.

One of the recent easement highlights was secured last month when landowners partnered with Shenandoah Valley Conservancy to protect an extensive section of Devil’s Backbone, the iconic ridge in the Allegheny Highlands in Highland
County, with a conservation easement.
